  Once you have had your GS custom site for a while and you decide you want a new design and a new set of color schemes done, you never need to throw the old design away -- we keep it in the library of available layouts so it's always there and can be reused at any time. What About Flash Development.

We do provide Flash Development. The header of this web site is done in Flash... There are a few warnings we like to let people know about if they are considering a full-on Flash web site:

1. It's a lot more expensive. Full Flash development is very time consuming and will raise the cost of web site development exponentially.
2. Flash is not very search engine friendly. It's more difficult to get pages to rank well when the content of the site is embedded in a Flash movie.
3. Flash is not supported by any of the new Apple products such as the IPhone,  IPod or IPad. (no one using these devices will be able to see your Flash Content)
   
4. In the next couple of years we'll begin to see browsers that support HTML5 which threatens to render Flash obsolete.

Many of our clients wish to have web sites that are totally unique to them.  You can have a custom designed web site with the exact look and feel that you want, have all the features that you want and pay a lot less because we are an Authorized Global Site System Dealer.

Lowering Your Cost

Because most of the advanced features people ask for are already available in the GS system, the majority of the cost of creating a new custom design is spent purely on design instead of content creation or custom programming. This lowers the cost on average by about 300% (i.e. you get a $2,000 site for about $600).

Requesting a Custom Design

When you request a custom design we will interview you, either in person or over the phone, to talk about what you want your site to do, what features you will need and what the look and "feel" of your site should be. We'll also ask you for the web site addresses of some sites you really like so we can get an idea of your taste. If you can have a list of these ready before the interview it will be most helpful.

Quoting A Price

In most cases we can give you a firm quote on your initial consultation but there are times when we'll need to do some research before we commit to a price. In those cases we'll get back to you with a firm price within 1 business day.

The Design Process

Once we have a design for you to look at we'll email you a .jpg snap shot of the design. You can then tell us what you like or don't like. We'll make the appropriate changes and email the revised design back to you for your approval.  This process can be done up to 3 times without incurring additional cost.

Use Your Own Designer

If you have a designer you like and want them to do the design we are happy to work with them. All we need are the graphics files (usually Photoshop). They do not need to supply any code. It usually costs $300 to convert a design into a GS System web site.
